Diva's Challenge #223


This week's Diva's challenge is to use the pattern Umble. When I saw the instructions for drawing this pattern, I immediately loved how the instructional squares looked next to each other. I wanted to play with the spaces in between the pattern squares. This reminds me of intricate Japanese knots. Off to see other umbles!

    Yukari, I love what you did with your squares and knotted over them with Umble. I can really feel the texture of the knots. This must have taken a lot of planning before you could even get started. Very, very nice.

    Nice composition. I think you work much more precisely than I LOL! I like the added shimmer and the color you added to this pretty piece.
